OUR THERAPISTS

DEVON PARKER

Devon Parker has been studying different types of bodywork since 2005.  She became a Licensed and certified Massage Therapist in 2008.

Devon earned her certification at the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, CO. This school’s focus predominantly addressed the structure of the body with Neuromuscular therapy, passive and active stretches, postural assessment, and myofascial release. Having been through her own healing journey through traumatic soft tissue injury to her right leg when she was 17, and through a long process of healing PTSD, Devon approaches bodywork with a personal understanding of pain and recovery on many levels. She has dedicated the last 20 years developing the skills needed to assess and treat many different issues. From traumatic soft tissue injuries, to internal or visceral imbalances, Devon is acutely attuned to the needs of her client. Devon has had the honor of working with wounded warriors returning from war, Auto accident injuries, workman’s comp injuries, stroke and TBI’s, as well as people with acute auto-immune deficiencies such as MS, Parkinsons, Lymes Disease and Lupus. She understands that by helping the body, mind and spirit to re-connect to its own innate wisdom, transformation can occur. Devon uses a holistic integrative approach, using a variety of tools and methods to honor the person as an individual with their own personal history.

For this reason, mastery demands all of a person.”

WILLIAM WITHERS

William Withers was introduced to bodywork by his Father, Paradise or “Dise” Withers. Dise was a master reflexologist, and expert practitioner of many bodywork techniques. He was a black belt in Aikido, and was very well versed in herbal remedies, yogic and dietary practices, fasting, meditation, and mantra. Dise was deeply committed to studying and practicing the Lauren Berry Method, a powerful corrective system of restoring the body to homeostasis.

William started assisting his Father with his clients at the age of 10.  He absorbed a tremendous amount of information over the years, as he apprenticed with his Father.  William was inspired by his Fathers capacity to better people’s lives who were desperately in need. In 2006 William began his own journey to study under many different highly gifted teachers in the same realm of corrective bodywork. In 2008 Dise Withers passed away, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom and knowledge. William has committed himself to carry this important work on. He has developed many tools, working with all of the major systems to support in aligning the body. Aiding the Musculature, Skeletal, Lymph, Nervous, Cranial, Visceral systems to work together.

William has spent the last 17 years studying with arguably some of the best teachers in their field of expertise. Lynn Van Norman, Jeff Durlan, Roy Bonnie, Zackary Brickerhoff, and Dr. Richard Long, Kate Bullings. This apprenticeship has helped William develop the ability to map out a person’s deviations, and listen to the body, helping them stabilize their foundation.
